Wanted Dead or Online is a parody based on Bon Jovi's original song Wanted Dead or Alive. George Levy has no association with Bon Jovi.
lyrics
When I was growing up, I had dreams of becoming a Rockstar...
It was either gonna be that - or a Ninja… but my parents weren’t very happy about the Ninja thing.
As the years went by, the Rockstar thing didn’t pan out and after 2 cracked ribs and a broken nose at Karate class – I decided to give up the Ninja dream as well…
Then I became an adult and I had no choice but to “pay my own bills”, so I pushed those fantasies aside, put on a suit and tie - and joined the corporate world.
But then, in my darkest hour, along came the World Wide Web and my life took on a whole new direction.
I'm not the same
The Internet made me change
Every day
I post my status update
In Cyberspace
Where my pictures won't grow old
I surf online
and I feel so bold.
I'm a web guy
Without Internet I'd die
I'm wanted... Dead or Online.
Wanted... Dead or Online.
Sometimes I Tweet (Tweet)
Sometimes I Blog away
The people Re-Tweet
And leave comments every day
Sometimes I search for days
First in Google then in Bing
Don't call me on my phone
Cause I'll just let it ring.
I'm a web guy
Without Internet I'd die
I'm wanted... Dead or Online.
wanted... Dead or Online.
I'm online...
Web!
'Cause I'm a web guy
Without Internet I'd die
I'm wanted... Dead or Online.
I shop for groceries
While I'm sitting home on Chat
I text my peeps
And I check in where I'm at.
A quick status share...
Leave your post on my wall.
Got all my friends on Facebook
and I've poked them all.
'Cause I'm a web guy
Without Internet I'd die
I'm wanted... Dead or Online.
'Cause I'm a web guy
I got a digital mind
and I'm wanted... Dead or Online.
I'm online...
Dead or online
I'm online...
Dead or online
Dead or online
Dead or online Ooooh...
Dead or online
Dead or onliiiiineeeee........
